Printer
problem

Do you own a Cannon LBP_800 Laser printer that talks to you when
it prints (”Printing Started” etc). This talking option
can slow your computer down considerably particularly if you have
a network in place. We recently nearly committed mass suicide in our
business because our Computer system slowed right down. After a lot
of stress and %@#$@!. we found out that it was this printers little
voice thing causing the problem. UUUGGGHHHHHH.
When you load the printer it sends a little file to your start up
folder and you get a little printer icon with a blue dot down in the
bottom right side of your screen (in the start up activity bar) You
can right click on this to delete it. You can permanently delete it
by going to the left hand bottom of the screen to [Start]- [programs]
[start up] and delete the sucker from this folder. This does -not
delete the printer it just cuts it’s tongue off and stops the
printer from drawing memory when it doesn’t need to.
