When using outdoors:

  • full body protection is recommended.
  • Consider capturing the abrasive with dust extraction unit to prevent loss and environmental mess.

 

Compressor setting

  • Your compressor PSI should be set to at least twice the Pressure PSI that you set on the pressure pots regulator
  • 17cfm compressors are ideal for this unit but smaller capacity compressors will work

Adding Abrasive Oxide

  1. Release the pot lid lever till it drops down
  2. Place the sifting ring into the top of the pressure pot
  3. Poor in about half a bag of abrasive through the sifting ring.
  4. Remove the sifting ring and push the last bit intro the pot
  5. Lift the lid Lever and turn the pot lid until it slots into the holding braces inside the pot.
  6. Now pressurize the chamber by open the air inlet valve. This will seal the pressure pot.

 

To Operate

  1. Add compressor air and seal the pot
  2. Set the desired psi on the pressure pot regulator. The compressor’s regulator should be set at least twice the pressure you want to blast with.
  3. Set the air valve and the abrasive valve to about 50% open. This can be tweaked to get the flow right.
  4. To activate the shot blast flow hold the nozzle away from the product to be blasted and any person or thing.
  5. Press the foot pedal to operate the blast flow.
