In this video, we show the SM Junior plus etching some stone pavers for shallow-pattern etching. We used 46-grit aluminium oxide to etch these 300 x 300mm pavers. It was done for a client who wanted to etch an image into tiles to achieve slip-rating compliance. This also shows how quickly pattern etching can be done for decorative patterns or commercial signage.
Not at the end, the blast trigger has been stopped, and the loose abrasive specs are being vacuumed up. The sound has not been tampered with, so it shows the full decibel noise the Sand Master Junior Plus makes; pretty impressive.
